Violence Against Women
Every woman in Rwanda and in the entire World deserves to live a life free from violence, fear, and discrimination. By raising awareness, advocating for change, and providing support, we can work together to end violence against women in Rwanda and create a safer, more inclusive society.
"Rabagirana"
In response to the need for women empowerment, URUSARO has initiated the transformative project called Rabagirana. Translated as "to glow" or "to shine" in the local language, this project aims to organize teen mothers in the community into self-help groups, providing them with essential support, skills, and resources to regain control of their lives.
The Rabagirana Project holds immense significance in the lives of teen mothers in Kacyiru Sector. By organizing them into self-help groups, it creates a supportive network where they can share experiences, provide emotional support, and learn from each other.

Umutoni wase Claudine
My names are Umutoni wase Claudine and Iam the one in charge of women who sell fruits and vegetables at Kabuga 1 market which was built by World Vision Rwanda. We thank World Vision Rwanda for thinking about us and and we are so grateful for this infrastructure. We now have a place we no longer running from the local securities(Panda gare) in the streets of Kigali selling fruits because we have our own market now to work from and we are happy because this market gave us a relief. We also thank Urusaro Women of change who also put us in saving groups and taught us how to save and loan each other ‘money, it is now easy for us to get capital and also pay school school fees for our children. We can also pay Medical insurance (mituelle de sante )for our families.our lives are changing positively.we appreciate your kind gesture.
